Dan WilsonReal estate investor and private lenderWhat I'm doing with houses and income, every Tuesday.
Once a week I write about what actually happened in my business, the houses we bought or walked away from, the families in them and the numbers behind them, plus what I think it means for building income that pays your bills. It lands Tuesday at 9am Eastern, and you can leave with one click.
Someone commented on one of my videos that they have $1.4 million saved and they're "scared to death."
I don't think more money would fix that. Once the paycheck stops, every bill comes out of that balance, and the market decides whether it holds up.
What feels calm is money that shows up every month on its own.
I learned that the long way.
Real numbers, from a real business.
I buy affordable houses in Ohio, put families in them on a path to owning them, and fund them with private money. Most weeks the letter comes straight out of that: a deal, a mistake, a number that surprised me. Other weeks it's something a reader asked, or a lesson from the years my rentals paid the bills and a paycheck was optional.
No homework and no sales pitch. When you reply, I read it, and a lot of what I write next comes from those replies.
